Here it is PSO for the Gamecube !
To no one's great surprise, Sega was busy flexing its multi-platform muscle at this year's E3 show, and one of the next generation systems that will be receiving a lot of support from Sega is the Nintendo Gamecube. Sega used the show to announce its plans to release 10 titles on the Gamecube, including Phantasy Star Online Version 2, which will also be arriving on the Dreamcast this year.

Uuuuuuummmmmm now thats quality gameplay !
However, there is a noticeable difference when viewing the game in its 4-player splitscreen mode. The Gamecube version doesn't lose any graphics detail at all and maintains a constant 60fps.
Changes between the Dreamcast version and the Gamecube Version
As for the gameplay, both versions wont be identical the Gamecube version will bost many many more features than the Dreamcast version, but all the new added features being offline features so there is quite a high possibility that DC and GC players will be able to play in harmony.
With the original Phantasy Star Online becoming the world's first online playable console RPG, it would certainly be fitting for Version 2 to become the world's first cross-console online RPG. Hopefully Sonic Team is thinking the same thing.

Not too many differences at the moment
So how does the Gamecube version of PSO Version 2 compare to what we've seen so far of the Dreamcast version? Well, if you thought the screenshots were from the Dreamcast version, you'd be wrong. These images were taken off the Gamecube, and as you can see, both versions are looking nearly identical at this point, at least in full screen mode.
